Our Background
Remarkable Remodels is a family business owned and operated by Michael Morris, father, and Seth Morris, son. We have been working together for 10 years now and have loved watching this business and each other grow. We greatly enjoy what we do and all the wonderful people we have met along the way. We have found our business to be just as much about the people as it is about the labors involved. There is a special satisfaction that comes from getting to help solve someone's frustrations over minor repairs or seeing the happiness in someone's face as they see a project that had been only a daydream become their exciting new reality.

PROFESSIONAL HISTORY
Our Journey As A Company
1983-1986
Growing Up Handy
As a young man in his preteen to teen years Michael helped his father with building sheds in Florida. That time spent with his father introduced him to the ideas of building, hard work, and craftsmanship.
1990-2003
Body Shop & Lawn Care
Michael got a job in Florida working at his brother's body shop repairing and prepping cars for paint. When he moved back to Indiana he got a job working for Cragen Lawn Care and began learning the trade. Then Seth was born in '93. He eventually moved on to grounds maintenance at the old Indianapolis women's prison.
2003-2007
Handy Man to Full Time
Michael Morris was working full time in the maintenance department of Marriot downtown Indianapolis at this time. During his off time, he would take on maintenance and minor remodel work. 12-year-old Seth Morris was still in school at this time but eager to learn and spend time with his father. He came along when he could. He began his career here, learning on site, watching, handing tools, and trying to complete tasks given by Michael. Eventually there was more side work than time after work and Michael made the hard choice to try stepping out full time for himself.
2010-2011
Business Partner
Michael worked with a business partner John for a couple years as Quality Remodels and Repair. Near the end a combination of differences in opinion of the company's direction and the desire of Seth to take on a larger role the two decided to part ways.
2012-2020
Remarkable Remodeling
Michael started a new company on his own with Seth working as an employee and a few other guys along the way that turned out short-term. A select few stayed with them for a few years as until they grew into a position to move on and begin something for themselves. Seth began digging in and learning everything he could about the trade and gained experience with bidding jobs and managing employees.
2021-Present
Remarkable Remodels LLC
Years in the making Seth feels he has gained the knowledge and experience to step into a shared role. At this time he is taking on half the responsibilities of planning, pricing, communicating, and labor. He then wants to become an equal legal partner. They decided to start a legally new company that both now were equals as owner operator. Now they are operating together just like they used to talk about "maybe one day" back when Michael was still doing after hours handy man work. That is how they got were they are today!
